Brakes..
Why call them (emergency !) brakes if they dont ?
I am talking about the hand brakes in automatic transmission cars. I bet everyone who drives one, agrees they drove the car without releasing the brakes for atleast few feets (or even miles) once in their life; unlike the manual transmission cars which wont move a bit when the hand brakes are ON.

I think both hand brakes are same...manual or automatic..it depends how strong u pull the lever...and that strength depends on the slope which u want handle..
or the amount of drift u want to have while drift racing..!!!!!!!!!!!
anon: I should have been more clear. Not going to the tech/science, I just want to say, that the automatic doesnt help us realise for first few minutes, that the brakes are ON and its funny when most ppl accepts that they had drove the car with the brakes ON atleast once.
my dad have forget many times to release the handbrake and will remember after traveling some distance, now days the handbrake are not working well.
