Dumpsters....For better

In US, the residential areas do not have a dumpster, instead, the waste & recycling company men come & collect from houses once in a week. Surprisingly, this time in India, I see my mom leave the bin outside the house every morning and municipality women come and collect it. But what I heard was, they dont work on weekends, and our people are not used to keep the trash for more than a day inside the house, nor they have bigger size trash cans to hold 3 days trash. So, they just go dump on some roadsides, failing the project. I think we first need clean roads before implementing such projects. The idea is good, but sad to see the efforts go in vain.
